Program Flea Killer comes in flavored tablets; dosage is dependent on the weight of the animal. It is to be administered once monthly, preferably on the same day of every month, and can continue either year-round or for the duration of flea season. Program Flea Killer should be given either directly into the mouth or broken up into food; to ensure that the drug is fully absorbed, it should be given together with a meal. In multi-pet households, all of the animals must be treated in order for Program Flea Killer to be effective.
