For the treatment and control of Roundworms (Toxocara canis, Toxascaris leonina), Hookworms (Ancylostoma caninum, Uncinaria stenocephala), Whipworms (Trichuris vulpis), and Tapeworms (Taenia pisiformis).

Control and remove roundworms, hookworms, whipworms, and Taenia tapeworms. Active ingredient is 22.2% fenbendazole, an FDA-approved wormer for dogs. Fenbendazole kills the parasite by disrupting its energy metabolism. Each treatment requires wormer be given once daily for 3 consecutive days according to specified weight. Instructions

Your dog must be treated for 3 days in a row. Determine the number of packets to give below. If dog's weight is in between sizes, it is safe to use next higher size.

1-10 lbs = 1 gram packet
11-20 lbs = 2 gram packet
21-30 lbs = 1 gram + 2 gram packets
31-40 lbs = 4 gram packet
41-50 lbs = 1 gram + 4 gram packets
51-60 lbs = 2 gram + 4 gram packets
61-80 lbs = Two 4 gram packets
Over 80 lbs = Determine combination of packets for weight

Ingredients

Active ingredients (in each dosage unit): Fenbendazole Granules 22.2% (222 mg/g). The daily dose for Safe-Guard Canine is 50 mg/kg (22.7 mg/lb) of body weight.

Special Notes

Safe-Guard Canine is safe for use in puppies 6 weeks or older and adult dogs, including pregnant bitches. Do not deworm a dog or puppy that is sick. Consult your veterinarian for diagnosis of the illness. Keep this and all medication out of the reach of children. For use in dogs only.
