  • Prescription medications ship within 1-2 business days after vet approval is obtained and should arrive within 2 business days.
  • A small percentage of items require a longer ship-out time and we will notify you should there be any delay in your order.
  • Orders ship via major carriers, including UPS and the USPS. Customers cannot specify the carrier of their choice.

Prescriptions

IMPORTANT: According to Federal and State laws, once a prescription order has been filled, it is non-returnable and non-refundable and there are no exceptions.

PetNutritionProducts.com upgrades all prescription medications to Priority Mail at NO additional charge. Prescription medications generally take 24 to 48 hours, not including weekends or holidays, to process depending on how quickly we can obtain the required vet approval. According to Federal and State laws, once a prescription order has been filled, it is non-returnable and non-refundable.

BEFORE PLACING YOUR ORDER, please make sure your vet has approved your pet meds and is expecting us to contact them for approval (unless you are mailing us the original prescription) to avoid any unnecessary delays. Prescription medications are shipped directly from our Pharmacy and are sometimes shipped separately from other non prescription products. If your order includes both prescription medications and non prescription products, you may receive two separate shipments and shipment confirmations. According to Federal and State laws, once a prescription order has been filled, it is non-returnable and non-refundable.

As soon as your order is submitted, you will receive an order confirmation email with the details of your order. Once your order is shipped, you will receive a shipment confirmation with your package tracking number. You can also obtain order information and more by logging into the My Account page of our web site.


UPS Package Tracking

Using your UPS tracking number, you can check the status of your package by visiting UPS.com or by calling UPS directly at 1-800-PICK-UPS (742-5877).


USPS Package Tracking

Using your USPS delivery confirmation number, you can confirm package delivery by visiting www.USPS.com or by calling the USPS directly at 1-800-275-8777. Please note that in most cases the USPS does not track the progress of your shipment, just the delivery.


Note: Some circumstances may affect delivery of your order, such as weather conditions, if your shipping address is a house or an apartment and whether deliveries can be left outdoors. UPS or USPS policies for your area may dictate that your package be held at a local office until you pick it up in person. Call your local UPS or Post Office directly for the delivery policy for your area. Pet Nutrition Products is not responsible for misdirected or undeliverable packages.


Back Orders

We have one of the highest in stock rates in the industry and make every effort to maintain our inventory and mark items "out-of-stock" on our website. On occasion, however, we may have fewer items in stock than what you order. Should this happen, we will either immediately ship what we have in stock and issue a refund for the out of stock item(s) or we will hold your order until the product becomes available depending on how quickly it is expected back in stock. We will notify you via email with the status of any and all back orders or refunds and your invoice will also reflect the number of items shipped.


Order Cancellation

You may cancel an order at any time prior to shipment by contacting us. Unfortunately, we are not able to cancel orders once they have been shipped and picked up by the shipping carrier so please contact us as soon as possible. Please refer to our Returns Policy for easy returns.


Return Policy

IMPORTANT: According to Federal and State laws, once a prescription order has been filled, it is non-returnable and non-refundable and there are no exceptions.

Customer satisfaction is our first priority. If you would like to return a shipment, please contact us within 30 days of receipt via email or Live Chat so we may assist you.


Returns will be honored only if reported within 30 days after receipt. Returns must be in new, resalable condition in the original packaging including all product information and warranty cards. Health Codes will not allow our employees to handle soiled items. Any items returned that do not meet the above specifications will be discarded at no credit.

Missing items must be reported to us within 72 hours of order receipt.


Damaged shipments must be reported immediately to the carrier within 72 hours of receipt. UPS: 800-742-5877, USPS 800-275-8777.

Upon approval, your original form of payment will be credited within 2 business days of merchandise receipt and you will receive an email credit confirmation.


If your return is the result of an incorrect shipment by Pet Nutrition Products, or a damaged or defective product, we will refund merchandise and shipping charges to your original form of payment. We will reimburse shipping charges incurred to return incorrect, damaged, or defective merchandise to Pet Nutrition Products, not to exceed the published UPS Ground rate for the weight of the package. You must contact us prior to returning the package.


For your protection, we encourage you to send your return via carriers who offer package tracking such as UPS or FedEx (be sure to retain your tracking receipt for future reference). Pet Nutrition Products is not responsible for any lost or damaged return shipments.
